About The Catch-All Mama

Hi, I’m Sam!

I am the mama behind The Catch-All Mama. I am a wife to my fantastic husband Dave, and new SAHM to my sweet 2 year old girl, named Taylor.

This little tribe of mine

Before becoming a SAHM this last year I taught kindgarten-2nd grade for the last 8 years. Staying home has had it’s share of learning curves. I found myself looking for how other moms are managing everything on their plates from toddler activities to cooking, cleaning, and working out. My catch-all of everything SAHM life, and I hope it can bring enjoyment, relatabilty, and comfort to other mommas in the thick of it all. I’m with you, and we are in this together because mom life is hard!

A little bit about me, I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. I moved to Tucson, Arizona in the middle of high school with every intention of heading back to Chicago as quickly as I could. But Arizona is a really special place.. and I earned my education degree from Arizona State and then my Master’s degree and met my amazing husband. So it is clear that Arizona now has my heart. 15 years later I am still here, and couldn’t imagine raising my family anywhere else. My husband is a Phoenix native…so it’s safe to say we are now Arizona lifers.

Now I’m a 30 year old mom striving to be the best version of herself and if there is anything that teaching taught me it is the power of connection. Blogging is providing me with the power of connection. To connect with other moms going through the experiences, trials, meltdowns, and everything in between that I am. I hope you’ll stick around and connect with me!
